The empire of the self is a project that wants to analyze and represent the modern times that we are living,
more precisely it criticizes the values and the superficiality of the modern self.
Too often the appearance determines who you are, and people are struggling to be the same and to conform with society rather that letting out what they really are inside.

It is a work in progress as this is just the first trailer of a series of videos I am preparing.
As a self initiated project its aim is also to experiment with visual effects and unusual techniques avoiding as much as possible digital tools.
